Mission and Objectives

CPAF/OPSAC provides a roundtable and peer-support network for federal, provincial, and territorial arts councils and equivalent public arts funders so each can be more effective in their work. This, in turn, helps members to foster, support and develop the arts in Canada.

The objectives of the network are to:

• Facilitate networking;

• Increase opportunities for collaboration;

• Share information and best practices and explore issues of common interest; and

• Build knowledge and competencies through strategic and professional development opportunities.
